24*7 Shift Work, shift rotations once a month

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

Reviews the latest alerts to determine relevancy and urgency.
Creates new trouble tickets for alerts that signal an incident and require Tier 2 / Incident Response review.
Runs vulnerability scans and reviews vulnerability assessment reports.
Research/evaluate emerging cyber security threats.
Use analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.

Manage and configure in-house security monitoring tools.
Ensure that latest security and technological updates are applied to systems.
Monitor for attacks, intrusions, unusual, unauthorized, and illegal activities.
Investigate security alerts and provide incident response.
Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security.

Requirements:

CYSA or other security related certifications gives immediate preference.
Must be a graduate of any BS degree of an IT related course.
Must have at least one year experience in a Security or Network Operations/Help Desk role.
Must be willing to work extended schedules to meet deadlines or augment backlogs.
Must be willing to work on rotating shifts.
Must be willing to work in Metro Manila.
